M. Kathleen McTighe Mellen

I started practicing law at a large civil defense firm and didn't look back for 9 years. The experience was invaluable, laying the framework for my career as a successful litigator and giving me the opportunity to explore a wide range of practice areas, including commercial and personal defamation, personal injury and wrongful death, commercial and consumer contracts, trademark infringement and protection, and trade secrets.

 

I enjoy counseling clients through all stages of disputes, from small to complex, and advocating for them in the courtroom. I have tried cases to verdict and handled post-trial appeals in both state and federal court. Most recently I was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2021 Ones to Watch, an awarded recognition based on peer review given to attorneys earlier in their careers for outstanding professional excellence in private practice in the United States.
